Ventura Street Painting Festival

2018 Ventura Art & Street Painting Festival

I had a great time at last weekend’s Art & Street Painting Festival in Ventura. This year I chalked a mermaid square.

The ground here is really rough, but it adds character to the chalk.
Another angle of my square.
Finished!
A Dole Pineapple Whip float from Coastal Cone is always in order at this event!
After a day of chalking, the beach is always my happy place, and it’s right across the street.

Check out my timelapse here:

2016 Ventura Street Painting Festival

Had the greatest time chalking at Ventura Harbor Village last week-end. It was a gorgeous day, lovely weather and wonderful people!

Close up of my square at Harbor Village, shout out to my sponsor Police Chief Mike Tracy! 🙂

My finished square. I love Ventura and can’t wait to come back next year.

Harbor Village’s Dole Pineapple Whip Float available at Coastal Cone, just like the one at Disneyland.

Got to chalk next to good friend and artist Marcella Swett this year. She made the lovely portrait on the left.

The best part about the festival is that it is located right across the street from the beach! Took a short break in the water to cool off and enjoy the soothing waves of the ocean.

These are some of the chalkers who chalked at Harbor Village, all proceeds benefit Food Share.
