One of the most iconic and beautiful work of art is the old Panther Lady painting that once hung inside Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion. Sometime between 2003-2004, the painting was removed and replaced. I miss the Panther Lady! Inspired by this spectral masterpiece, I embarked to recreate my own version of the Panther Lady in chalk at this year’s Pasadena Chalk Festival.
Sketching the outline, ensuring every stroke conveys the spirit of the original painting.
Layer by layer, I’ll start applying chalk and aim to capture the beauty of the original masterpiece.
