Our last day of vacation! We spent it visiting the grave of Jim Morrison, the Sacred Heart of Jesus Basillica, and bought little souveneers before getting on the plane.

European Vacation Day 21 Paris, France

Today we departed Rome and returned to Paris for one more day & night of sightseeing before we return home tomorrow night. We checked into our hotel and walked around the surrounding area and then went to sleep.

Goodbye Rome, I had a wonderful time here and I will miss you. Someday I will return to spend more time getting to know you better.

We walked up to see the Moulin Rouge which was about 5 minutes away from our hotel room.

The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is three blocks up, we will visit this church tomorrow.

Today we visited the Colloseum, the Capital and went sightseeing on the Hop-on Hop-off bus. Tomorrow morning we depart back to Paris to catch our flight back home.

Today we checked in to a new hotel in Rome. we visited the Vatican and saw the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. Impressive!

Today we visited the Mvseo di Palazzo Vecchio and Michaelangelo’s Plaza. We even encountered a real Italian Madonnari!

Today we spent the day in the city. We went to the Medicci Family Museum and back downtown to have pizza by the Duomo Cathedral.

European Vacation Day 16 Venice, Italy

Today we spent the whole day in Venice, Italy. We ate at an Italian restaurant and went on a gondola ride.

Venice, Italy. The town is built on canals of ocean water.

Getting around this town requires a taxi boat.

The water flows in from the Artic ocean.

Gondola rides are a popular way to see the city. It was an amazing day!

We went sightseeing throughout the city. we visited the Opera, Mozart House and Museum, the Vienna Palace and the famous Cafe Sacher for a “Sacher Tarte”.
